Welcome to the Year 3 page – Summer 2010

Can you believe it the summer term already! We have so much to look forward to this term in year 3. There will be our residential trip to Hartington which we are all so excited about. Also there will be the summer production and sports day too, what a busy time!
We have all had a great time in year 3 exploring the fantastic topics we have chosen from the International Primary Curriculum and have one more to look forward to this year. Our final topic is called ‘Do you live around here?’ which is a topic based upon habitats. The children will be learning about the different places where people, animals and plants live and grow – their habitats. This is a long topic which we will be studying throughout the whole of summer 1 term and part way through summer 2 term.

As you can imagine our residential trip will provide the children with a great experience to explore the habitats of others, especially plants and animals. We look forward to the entertainment the children will be providing us with on the final evening, one of the many highlights of the trip!
If you wish to know more about our class artists then why not explore the Stella and O'Keeffe pages.
